Alivia received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Kansas State University in 2015 and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of New Mexico in 2019, both with a focus in photography.

Her fine art has graced the walls of venues such as the UNM Art Museum, Ellsworth Gallery, Title Gallery, OmniHum Audio Visual Gallery, Light Art Space, and 516 Arts. Alivia's work has also been celebrated in various online and print publications, including Southwest Contemporary, Pasatiempo, Analog Forever Magazine, and the book Socially Engaged Art History and Beyond.
